About

Owner-operated. Design-build. Not a catalog with a van.

NavCom Services is a low-voltage shop based in Hancock, Maryland. We design and install the systems that sit below the drywall and above the electrical — access, video, AV, cabling, POS, and unified communications.

The work is owner-led. You get a person who has walked the job, not a rotating estimator and a different crew. When a custom home or a commercial floor needs more than one trade, we would rather own the stack than hand you three invoices that do not meet.

Coverage is northwest Maryland, the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, northwest Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Homes and businesses — that is the book of work.

One stack, one owner

Access, video, AV, cabling, POS, and voice are cheaper to own when they share a closet, a drawing, and a phone number.

Design-build, not bid-and-run

We would rather be early in the drawing than the low number on a bid tab that cannot be built.

The cheap camera is expensive

Retention, PoE, licensing, and service visits eat a low hardware quote. We price the system you will still like in year three.

Documented plants

Port maps, credentials, and as-builts. If we get hit by a truck, another tech should still be able to find port 24.

Technician installing a ceiling speaker

We bid work we can stand in front of in year three.

Hardware comes and goes. Closets, credentials, and as-builts are what keep a building from becoming a science project.

Straight answers

Do you only sell hardware?
No. We design, install, commission, and support. If you already bought gear, we will tell you honestly whether it belongs in the design.
Will you work under a general contractor?
Yes. We bid design-build packages and we subcontract low-voltage scopes with coordinated drawings and cut sheets.
Do you cover West Virginia and Virginia from Maryland?
Yes — the Eastern Panhandle, northwest Virginia, and Pennsylvania sit on the same bench as Hancock. If a site is outside that map, we will say so before anyone drives.
Do you only do homes, or commercial too?
Both. Custom homes and commercial floors are the two verticals. Same stack, different manners.
How do we start?
Send the site address, what is failing or missing, and a couple of photos. We will tell you if a survey is worth a trip before anyone pulls wire.
